Buckeye Burl Strat Style Body
This unusual buckeye burl Strat style body was nature’s version of black and white. This stunning contrast was kept natural.
The back was a simple white ash with a lot of heavy grain. This grain was filled with a black grain filler. The front was also received grain fill. A very dark charcoal colored burst was used on the back to bring these two woods together. The dark edges of the body and cream binding really make the burl sing.
The final steps included Nitrocellulose Lacquer, wet sanding and buffing.
The finished product was a very unique and gorgeous guitar.
