Figured Grain Strat Body

This highly figured strat  body has a mahogany back.  The front figuring was intensified by dying it a medium red brown to blend with the red tones of the back.

The front and back required grain filling to achieve a glass smooth finish.  A natural colored band was retained to seperate the two surfaces and make the front pop. A medium toned burst was lightly applied to further marry the two surfaces.

Final steps included Nitrocellulose Lacquer, wet sanding and buffing
