Blue Stratocaster Guitar Body

A light colored stratocaster style guitar body with striking ash grain needed to be brought to life. 

An updated version of Phelam Blue was used in a transparent nitrocellulose lacquer.  Midnight blue grain filler was applied. As is common with ash, extensive leveling was required to obtain a flat surface. A dark transparent burst will highlight the hardware whether silver or black.  The finish was completed with Nitrocellulose finish, wet sanding and buffing.

This clear blue Strat style body would be stunning with chrome of brushed nickle hardware.
