Green Chambered Body Stratocaster
This maple stratocaster style body is hollow body and has a back of ash. The challenge became making it a matched piece with the two different wood tones. To achieve something a little different the maple is dyed dark natural green. A quarter inch stripe of natural maple was left as a banding. The entire body was given a dark green burst to marry the front to the back.
A neck was finished to match the body. A dark green dye on the back and head of the neck and a very thin dark green on the fret board.
Both pieces received Nitrocellulose Lacquer for finish then wet sanded and buffed.
