Red Stratocaster Guitar Body

The front of the Stratocaster style guitar body is a mix of three woods.  Combining wood species really adds a lot of detail to it.  The most dominate color being the two stripes of mahogany followed by the yellow in the zebra wood. 

A coral red was the way to go.  The maple was dyed coral. Next came a burst of coral red on the front and back.  The body was completed with Nitrocellulose Lacquer, wet sanded, and buffed.

The result was a unified Stratocaster style body that highlights the mix of wood species.
